We are pleased to inform about the acceptance into print of the meidcal journal "Thoracic Surgery Clinics" of a voluminous and important article by the NTRI authors team - Denis Krasnov, Sergey Sklyuev, Yana Petrova, Dmitry Skvortsov, Vladimir Krasnov, Irina Felker, Nikolai Grishchenko. An article in English "Modern collapse therapy for pulmonary tuberculosis" is planned for publication in the first edition of the 29th volume of the journal in February 2019 (pages 47-58).

Free access is now open for 50 days (until about January 6, 2019), where you can read it completely on the Internet or save it as a PDF file.

The publication of a significant amount of scientific information in English is extremely important not only in terms of the complexity and thoroughness of preparing material for the international medical community. This article supports the breakthrough in the use of invasive methods of treatment of tuberculosis (surgical, collapse therapy, and so on) that our colleagues abroad have underestimated for a long time: their approach was based only on conservative methods of treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis with different standards for the use of anti-TB drugs.

NTRI specialists have once again confirmed the expediency of traditional Russian approach in the fight against tuberculosis, an integral component of which are modern collapse therapy methods for the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis.
